By popular demand, Helen Speed took the club on another Fungi Spotting Walk in Roudsea Woods near Haverthwaite. Due to the heavy demand last time, we limited the numbers this time to just 12, and the photos below give a flavour (whoops we're not supposed to eat them) of what we saw.
The one on the left is Amanita muscaria - Fly Agaric - and the ones on the right are Lycoperdon Pyriforme - the stump puffball.
Val and Colin Hunter took their camper van to France for a few weeks that included a stay in the Ecrin. The photo below left shows Val on the Vigneaux - Le Colombier Via Ferrata and below right shows Colin on the Mont Ventoux summit.

Alan Wilson and his friend Dennis had a week of walking in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland, and the shots below are a selection of his photos.

The Working Weekend was again well attended. Apart from the usual painting jobs, the main projects tackled were the dam and the steps outside the Washroom emergency escape.

Rod and Hugh had a few days in Wales on the Arenigs.

Meanwhile, Mick was in the Brecon Beacons.

Tony and Sue are walking the GR5 is sections, and this year they completed their second section from Chamonix to Modane.
Below left shows Sue approaching the Col de la Leisse, and below right Sue on a GR5 variant in the Vanoise National Park.
Bottom left shows Tony on the GR5 near Modane with Mont Blanc in the distant background, and Tony in the botton right on a GR5 variant in the Vanoise.
